Change in ruling on rat deliveries & exchanges at NFRS shows

Owing to a number of post show infections and a few scares in recent times the NFRS Executive Committee have made the following decision to take effect immediately: -
Only NFRS members are permitted to exchange/deliver rats for collection by others to any NFRS show. Any exchanges should fit into the 14 day quarantine guidelines for safety of not having shown any signs of illness within the last 14 days or having been exposed to any rats of unknown background during this period. Please ensure that you advise the show secretary in advance of the show if you have any rats to exchange/deliver at a show.
The whole policy of exchanges/deliveries and also shoulder rats at NFRS shows is under discussion by the NFRS Executive Committee and further rules/guidelines may be added to at a later date.
Please note - no rats may be offered for sale at NFRS shows. We do not have a 'kitten table' at our shows.
